Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Agadir – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
After an early breakfast in your hotel, you will leave Agadir to start your desert tour to the famous village of Ait Ben Haddou.
You will have different stops on the road to visit some beautiful places and authentic Berber villages like Taroudant, Taliouine or the capital of Safran and the little village of Tazenakht where the original Berber carpets are produced in the local cooperatives.
We will have lunch in Taznakht then we will continue our tour to Ait Benhaddou, the famous Berber Castle where famous Hollywood movies have been shot like the Mummy, Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
Dinner and over night in a hotel or guest house in Ouarzazate.
Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga Dunes)
We will resume our journey over the famous Berber village of Tinghir where we will have a short visit with a local tour guide to the agriculture fields as well as a local Berber carpets cooperative, then we will drive to Tinjedad to visit Touroug Palm Plantations and have lunch, before reaching Erfoud and the great dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Upon your arrival, there is nothing better than a camel ride tour in the open dunes to leave and original and almost unique desert experience, then you will you will have dinner and spend an unforgettable night in the authentic nomad camp.
Day 3 : Erg Chebbi Dunes – Ouarzazate
You need to weak up very early in the morning to watch the attractive desert sunrise before taking your breakfast in the camp. Then, let’s continue our desert trip through Rissani where we will visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and some beautiful palm groves.
We will have lunch in Nkob before going to Ouarzazate through the great Draa Valley.
Dinner & overnight in a hotel or guest house in Ouarzazate.
Day 4 : Ouarzazate – Agadir
We will start our last day of this desert tour by visiting a cinema studio in Ourzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco, then we will take back our way to Agadir with a lunch break in Taroudante.
