Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Casablanca – Marrakech
Your private tour begins with a pick up from your airport or from your hotel in Casablanca, direction Marrakech. One of the major cities of Morocco, Marrakech is the most important Imperial City, located at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, also known as “Red or Ochre City” for the red walls that surround it and for the various buildings of this colour built in the same period using red stones and sand. We will visit the Bahia Palace, the ancient Koranic school of Ben Youssef, the Koutoubia Minaret. Short stop for lunch and a mint tea break in one of the panoramic terraces overlooking Jemaa el-Fna square, then continuation to the Mosque and the Koutoubia Minaret, Free dinner. Overnight in riad/hotel.
Day 2 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou
Departure early in the morning from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou through the High Atlas Mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tichka and Telouet where you will visit one of the most extraordinary sights of the Atlas Mountains, the famous Kasbah Telouet. Built in 1860, this is one of the former residences of Pacha Glaoui and perhaps with the best examples of Islamic architecture in Morocco. After lunch visit the nearby salt mines and continue through the Ounila Valley, a part of the main caravan route from sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech, and the narrow river valley connecting Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou. After arriving in the afternoon at Ait Ben Haddou, we will visit the stunning Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 : Ait Ben Haddou – Erg Chigaga
Departure by 4wd early in the morning from your hotel to M’Hamid el Ghizlane via the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifte, the village of Agdz, then through the kasbah of Tamnougalt, we will explore the immense palm oasis of Draa Valley, then stop in Tamegroute to visit the Koranic library, the manufacturing location of the unique green pottery of Tamegroute, and the underground streets of the village. Lunch in M’Hamid then continuation to the big dunes of Erg Chigaga. We will arrive to the desert bivouac late in the afternoon for a camel ride, and finally a traditional nomad dinner and a night under the stars or under a comfortable nomad tent.
Day 4 : Chigaga – Foum Zguid
After watching the sunrise over the big dunes and having a traditional breakfast, we will go to Foum Zguid through the road between Erg Chigaga and the old Draa River to Lake Iriqui. Dinner and overnight in Foum Zguid.
Day 5 : Foum Zguid – Taroudant
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast, we will take the direction of Taroudant, a fortified small village in the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, we will also visit the villages of Taliouine and Aoulouz. Stop in Taznakhte, well known for the famous handmade Berber carpets. Continuation to Taroudant, where we will visit the local Souk and have a traditional Moroccan dinner and night in the hotel.
Day 6 : Taroudant – Essaouira
After a short city tour in Taroudant and its ramparts, we will go to Essaouira via Agadir.
Essaouira, a very typical Moroccan city and perhaps one of the most enchanting of the country, with its white washed walls, fishing port and long endless beach, a perfect place to relax before returning. Dinner and night in a traditional guesthouse.
Day 7 : Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast, trek by foot to discover Essaouira, the pearl of the Atlantic. You will discover a mix of cultures that reflects the rich history of this beautiful city. Stroll through the former Portuguese port, souks, medina, beautiful beach and feast on delicious grilled fish, fresh from the sea. This will be an unforgettable part of your trip to Morocco. After lunch, depart to Marrakech for a late afternoon arrival at your hotel.
Day 8 : Marrakech
Marrakech is a spectacular city, where there are permanent parts as seen in the famous Jemaa el Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which for centuries has been the most incredible world of popular theater: snakes, musicians, dancers, storytellers, actors, fortune-tellers … But we can not forget that their fate is tied to the different dynasties that followed it, as well as its tradition of political, economic and cultural metropolis has always dominated the history of the Maghreb. In Marrakech there are countless places to visit, for example, the Majorelle Gardens with the possibility to visit the new museum just opened, dedicated to Yves Saint Laurent, Free dinner. Overnight in riad/hotel.
Day 9 : Marrakech – Casablanca
In the morning, you will have some free time, then we will go back to Casablanca with ad drop-off at the airport or in your hotel. End of our services.
