During this desert trip you will visit the most beautiful places and destinations in the Sahara, starting by the fabulous Gorges of Dades, and the famous Berber village of Tinghir before getting the to large desert dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Fez – Gorges Dades
After an early breakfast in your hotel, we will leave Fez to start an outstanding desert tour with an experienced driver.
We will drive over the little Switzerland of Morocco ‘Ifrane’, then we will visit Azrou on the road where we will have lunch and eventually enjoy watching some wild monkeys in the forest.
We will continue through the High Atlas Mountains before arriving to Dades Gorges late in the afternoon.
We will have a break in a small Berber village, and if you are lucky, you may be invited to drink a cup of mint tea with a local family, before going for a short visit to the famous Gorges of Todra.
Dinner and overnight in a local hostel or Berber guest house in Dades Gorges.
Day 2 : Gorges Dades – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga Dunes)
After breakfast, we will leave Gorges Dades to continue our trip to Merzouga where we will explore one of the largest desert dunes in Morocco.
We will have a stop in the beautiful Berber village of Tinghir, we will have a guided tour onsite to visit some wheat and corn fields surrounded by green palm trees, then we will explore one the oldest water systems in this region before joining a live demonstration in a local cooperative to see how the famous Berber carpets are produced.
We will have lunch in the road, then we will continue driving till we reach the famous desert dunes of Merzouga.
We will start our desert experience by a very pleasant camel trek over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will stop for a moment to enjoy the outstanding desert sunset before going back to the desert camp to have dinner under the rhythms of nomad music and spend an unforgettable night in bivouac.
Day 3 : Merzouga Dunes – Fez
We will try to wake up early in the morning to watch the eye-catching desert sunrise, then we will have breakfast before leaving Merzouga to return back to Fez.
On the road, we will have several stops to visit very interesting sites and villages like Rissani, Errachidia and Midelt, then we will arrive to Fez late in the afternoon.
